The holidays are a time of fun and parties and FOOD!! I love it, but it can be overwhelming to cook for party after party and still feed your guests something fresh and exciting AND to please those with special dietary needs!
Dairy-intolerance, celiac disease, soy allergies....not to mention us vegans.... these dietary restrictions are so prevalent these days! You don't want your guests to leave hungry or worse yet, to suffer the day after.
Here are 3 awesome recipes to add to your repertoire that are vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free AND guilt-free, but full of delicious yumminess.
As an added bonus, they each have only 3 ingredients, can be thrown together in a flash, and they are fancy enough for the snootiest soirée. Seriously, this is what dreams are made of folks. It doesn't get any better than this!

Maple Baked Brie
If you can pour maple syrup and turn on the oven, then you can make this Maple Baked Brie. Serve it with sliced apples and pears, gluten-free crackers and fresh fruit and just watch it disappear. Be sure to toast your pecans. It brings out the best of their nutty flavour!
Cheesy Sweet Potato Snowflakes
This is me getting all Martha Stewart for my first appearance on CTV Morning Live in Ottawa (watch the clip here!!). Get out your cookie cutters and whip up these adorable and delicious little appies. The kids will LOVE them!! Don't have a snowflake cookie cutter? Try a star or even christmas trees!
Stuffed Mushroom Caps
Ok, ok.... technically these have more than 3 ingredients because one of the ingredients is my Hot Artichoke dip, but seriously, you should always have some of that in the fridge. It's that good! Make the dip ahead of time, and then try to save enough for these tasty little bites.
