There's no preheating the oven, baking or boiling. Just chop assemble and eat. Perfect for busy families on the go.
With the right tools you can create these beautiful dishes in less than 10 minutes. I've tried lots of different kitchen tools and these three are my absolute, can't-live-without-them favourites. They save me oodles of time, are easy to use and easy to clean. All of which are essential if a gadget is going to take up precious space in my kitchen!!
If you happen to be a gardener, you likely have many of these ingredients free for the picking. Bonus!! Zucchini, cherry tomatoes and basil are fresh and plentiful right now, and what better way to use them up than these Raw Creamy Sun-dried Tomato and Basil Zoodles.
1. A spiralizer
This nifty little gadget costs about 35-40$ and is able to turn zucchini, sweet potatoes, carrots, beets etc into noodles in minutes. I use mine pretty often. Especially in the summer and when I have company and want to garnish my salads nicely. Mine looks like this. You can order it on Amazon.

2. A mandolin
This is a tool used to quickly slice veggies VERY thinly and evenly. It can also julienne and other fancy stuff, but I use mine for slicing cucumbers to make the Raw Cucumber Sushi Rolls or beets to make the Raw Beetroot Ravioli.
Mine looks like this. I think I got it at Home Hardware for about 25-30$.

3. A juicer
Everyone seems to be juicing these days, so I think more and more households do have juicers. Mine is a Brevelle Centrifugal Juicer and I really like it. It's not as efficient as a Masticating or cold press juicer, but it's faster and not as expensive. Unless you're really serious about your juice, this is probably all you will need. It cost about $200.
I use this to make Veggie Lox. You keep the pulp in this case though, and use the juice for salad dressings, soups or well.... juice!
